Somewhere everywhere
2025
Her work explores the desire to inhabit a place—not physically, but as an inner, symbolic territory revealed through presence and observation.
Inspired by the light of Sanary-sur-Mer, her recent pieces connect her earlier series A place to be with her current formal research, all centered on the expressive and structural potential of the line. Using soak-stain and acrylic on canvas, the line becomes gesture, tension and movement, creating a poetic visual experience. Her personal journey between Spain and Colombia weaves through the work, revealing a duality focused not on choosing, but in understanding what it means to belong.
