Paola López Guerra
1974 Bogotá
Lives and works in Madrid
She is an architect from the Universidad Autónoma de Barranquilla and holds a postgraduate degree in Interior Design from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and EINA School in Barcelona. In 2025, she completed a Master’s in Art, Market and Business at the Complutense University of Madrid. Throughout her career, she has also worked in digital communication and graphic design. In 2013, she moved to Ibiza, a period in which she deepened the conceptual elements that inform her practice. Her work focuses on abstraction, with the line as both a structural and conceptual axis.
Her practice is shaped by the experience of inhabiting between Spain and Colombia, two territories that coexist as home, generating an ongoing reflection on identity, memory, and self-knowledge. In 2020, during the pandemic context, she established her studio in Bogotá, where she developed a project exploring the feminine, in dialogue with a search for an alchemy of local materials. She currently lives and works in Madrid.
